Education has the power to change lives. But education should not be a one-size-fits-all system. Every kid learns differently, and no one understands the unique learning needs of kids better than their families. That is why families, not the government, should be empowered with decision-making authority over their children’s education.
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee is listening to parents’ call for more options. On Tuesday, he announced the Education Freedom Scholarship Act to empower thousands of Tennessee families to customize an education that meets their children’s individualized needs.
