(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) – Yesterday, Gov. Bill Lee delivered his 2024 State of the State address. During his address, Gov. Lee highlighted the need for education freedom for all Tennessee families. He expressed the popular sentiment that families – not the government – should decide how and where children learn.

According to a recent poll by yes. every kid. foundation., three-quarters of Tennessee voters support school choice. 

“Gov. Lee is listening to Tennessee families and promising to deliver educational choice for all students,” said Tom Newell, vice president, yes. every kid. “The governor recognizes that no one understands the unique needs of a child better than their family, and that is why he is committed to empowering all families with decision-making authority.
