yes. every kid. today announced the promotion of Danielle Chavez Treviño to Senior Director of Public Affairs. Treviño previously served as yes. every kid.’s Communications Director, helping strengthen the organization’s voice and public presence across multiple states. In her expanded role, she will lead YES’ public affairs work, overseeing campaign strategy and execution, vendor management, and multi-state influence efforts.

“Danielle has the rare mix of strategic instinct and execution discipline,” said Craig Hulse, executive director of yes. every kid. “She doesn’t just communicate what we do. She helps shape how we win.”

Treviño brings experience across the private, nonprofit, and public sectors. She previously led corporate communications at Rev.com, where she built the company’s first communications function, and served as vice president of marketing and communications for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. She also worked in Texas state government and politics, including as the first social media strategist at the Texas General Land Office and supporting Gov. Greg Abbott’s initial gubernatorial campaign.

Treviño grew up in the Rio Grande Valley and is a graduate of Arizona State University’s Barrett Honors College. She lives in Austin with her husband and daughter.
