SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. — In response to the Senate passage of House Bill 215, that would create an Education Savings Account for all Utah students, Executive Director Craig Hulse released the following statement on behalf of yes. every kid.

“Every child is unique, and every child should have access to the resources that can help them thrive. With this historic legislation, the establishment of the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program would allow students to access $8,000 per year to be used for qualified education expenses, such as tuition, tutoring, online instructional programs or additional educational materials. It’s an opportunity to modernize learning, allowing parents the power to choose and customize the education that’s best for their children.

“We thank Senate President Stuart Adams, Sen. Kirk A. Cullimore, and Rep. Candice Pierucci for their leadership of behalf of Utah families and look forward to working together to advance solutions that respect the dignity of every kid.”
