A March 2025 survey by yes. every kid. reveals overwhelming support among Nevada voters for expanding school choice. 80% of voters support allowing families to decide which public school their child attends, with 53% strongly in support

Voters are guided by a strong belief that families—not government officials or ZIP codes—should determine which public schools children attend, favoring this approach by a wide margin (65% to 28%). By a significant margin, Nevada voters support open enrollment

Voters are less likely to vote for lawmakers who oppose expansion
By more than a 2:1 margin, Nevada voters would be less likely to vote for their legislator if their legislator opposed expanding open enrollment to all school districts in Nevada.

Conducted from March 21-25 with 603 registered voters (margin of error ±4.0%), the survey highlights a clear preference for family-driven education decisions.
