Iowa has taken important steps to expand education opportunities for students and families—and strong leadership has made that possible.
Governor Kim Reynolds has helped position Iowa as a national leader in education freedom by championing policies that empower families and put students first. Her commitment to expanding opportunities has opened doors for families across the state and created new pathways for students to learn in environments where they can thrive.
Across Iowa, more parents are finding learning environments that reflect their children’s individual needs, and more students are discovering places where they can grow, build confidence, and succeed. These changes have created meaningful new possibilities for families who simply want the best for their children.
And Iowans recognize that leadership.
A recent survey found that 73% of Iowans want lawmakers to keep pushing Iowa forward on education freedom and continue leading by example. That strong majority reflects broad support for the direction Iowa has taken—and a clear desire to keep expanding opportunities for students.
Republican leadership has helped Iowa stand out as an example for other states, demonstrating what’s possible when families have greater flexibility and students have access to learning environments that meet their needs. Their work has helped ensure that more families have the ability to make decisions that reflect what’s best for their children.
But there is still more to do.
Moments like this don’t last forever. Priorities shift. Opportunities can narrow.
That’s why this is a time to keep going.
To open more doors.
To give more families the chance to find what works best for their children.
And to ensure every child in Iowa has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed—today and for years to come.
