Communications Manager
Renee draws on more than a decade of experience turning complex issues into clear, compelling messages. Her background in strategic communications spans international development, public affairs, and higher education.
She serves as communications manager at yes. every kid., where she leads content creation and tactical execution to expand education freedom for students and families in key states nationwide.
Prior to joining yes. every kid., Renee was Associate Director of Public Affairs at CRAFT | Media/Digital, where she developed and implemented communication strategies for private-sector and nonprofit organizations. She also worked at Banyan Global, an international development firm, overseeing the company’s annual communications strategy and advising on project communications across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America.
Renee earned an M.A. in Latin American Studies from George Washington University and a B.S. in Communications from the University of Miami.
She and her husband live in Alexandria, VA, with their dog, Fitz.
