Nick Murray
Public Affairs Manager
Nick Murray is a Public Affairs Manager at yes. every kid. He comes to Yes with 15 years of experience in state-level politics and freedom-driven policy advocacy in New England, most recently with Maine Policy Institute, the Pine Tree State’s free-market think tank. In his time with MPI, Nick worked in the fundraising, outreach, communications, and policy realms to expand and strengthen the organization’s network and drive its multifaceted policy reform agenda at the State House and in the media.
Prior to MPI, he was deputy field director for a statewide ballot initiative in 2016 and related petition signature gathering in 2015. He has managed several local-level political campaigns, for Maine House and Maine Senate, as well as for third-party and independent candidate ballot access in Maine and New Hampshire.
Nick is a graduate of the Charter Oak Leadership Program, a project of the Leadership Program of the Rockies, and winner of its 2023 Defenders of Capitalism Award.
He occasionally hosts “Inside Maine” on WGAN, Southern Maine’s news/talk radio station, and serves as co-chair of the Maine Center-Right Coalition. He is a 2012 graduate of the University of New Hampshire and lives in Raymond, Maine.
